Judge Kellie Hill


Judge Hill moved to Georgia after law school and began her professional career. Prior to her appointment as a judge in the Cobb County Magistrate Court, she practiced as a trial attorney in the public and private sectors. Judge Hill founded The Kellie Hill Legal Group, a private criminal defense and legal consulting firm with offices in Atlanta and Marietta, Georgia.

Judge Hill and her work have been featured on national and international media outlets such as live “Gavel to Gavel” coverage on the network formerly known as Court TV, Dateline and NBC’s “48 Hours”, just to name a few.

Judge Hill is presiding over the inaugural year of Project Pinnacle-Cobb, which is a diversionary court for youthful offenders, implemented by the judge here in Cobb County. She currently serves on the Zion Academy Board of Directors in Marietta and the St. Benedict’s School Board of Directors in Smyrna, Georgia. She is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated and continues to lecture and mentor during her free time to foster her belief that our youth can “Be what they see”. Judge Hill is honored to serve her local community of Cobb County, where she lives with her husband and two children
