Natalie L. Ammons


Ms. Natalie L. Ammons has been with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) for over 29 years and is currently the Deputy Director of Public and Governmental Affairs, appointed in June 2018. In this role she assists the Public and Governmental Affairs Director in coordinating all aspects of media and public relations for the GBI. Additionally, she serves as a legislative liaison to Georgia’s legislature and the Governor’s Office on behalf of the agency.

Professionally, Ms. Ammons is a member of numerous organizations including the Georgia Association of Women in Public Safety, National Association of Women Law Enforcement Executives, National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives, National Asian Peace Officers Association, Georgia Association of Chiefs and Police, and International Association of Chiefs of Police. Personally, she is a member of the Philippine American Chamber of Commerce of Georgia, Filipino-American Association of Greater Atlanta, and Rotary Club of South DeKalb. Ms. Ammons was named one of 25 Most Influential Asian Americans in Georgia by the Georgia Asian Times in 2021.
